Season 14: Bomber or Hit?

Was this season a bomb or a big hit? There were many things to consider
about this season. We see Homer living with two gay guys, Frank Grimes
Jr. tries to kill Homer, Marge gets buffed up, and lots of other things
happened in this season. But was it funny?

I could ramble on and on why I think it is funny and I think it isn't. So
I shall. When Homer lived with two gay guys i thought it was ok. I didn't
laugh throughout the whole episode and I think the Weird Al singing was
placed horibbly, but it wasn't a failing episode. The only time I even
laughed in the Great Louse Detective was when Frank Grimes Jr. explains
about his dad...and the part when Bob and Bart sing. That was also
somewhat of a downer.

But then think of episodes like I'm Spelling As Fast As I Can. It wasn't
so funny in retrospect that Lisa was in the spelling bee, it was the fact
that Homer went with those Ribwich Hippies. It was funny to see them go
all around just stuffing their faces with food.

So was it a bomb? I don't think so. Was it a hit? Hmm, no not that
either. It was just an average season. Wasn't an all-around season that
made everyone stand on their feet and clap, but it also wasn't a season
that people just sat in their chairs and slept either.
